Publication of a research article on EU seed marketing legislation and its impact on farmers' varieties
Kybele was founded by Fulya BATUR in 2020 in order to provide training and consultancy services in all fields related to international environmental law, but more specifically on topics linked to seeds and biodiversity.
Kybele stands for the ancient Phrygian goddess of fertility and wild nature worshipped in ancient Anatolia.
Just as its eponym, the consultancy aims to generate and spread knowledge on the importance of preserving and using biodiversity, especially crop biodiversity, sustainably.
It provides consultancy services and training tailored to the needs of associations and organisations on all topics related to seeds and agricultural production, at international, European and national levels.
We offer different types of trainings (whether punctual, long-standing, online or in person) in a diverse range of subjects linked to seeds and biodiversity law and policy.
We carry out research projects to develop and spread knowledge about seeds and biodiversity policies, as well collective action for the conservation, sustainable use and dynamic management of genetic resources.
We develop tools and processes that spread information and communicate the right messages to targeted stakeholders on a wide range of topics.
We provide legal advice for clients who wish to navigate the web of international and European law that relates to seeds and biodiversity.
